okay freak head. i dislike making plans and choosing dates to go and do smth~. dunno why hahah i have this feeling like only me sot sot teh liddat, very eager to go back. that's why i initiated to set the date la(i am impatient de muahahah). den like 1 person not going~ den like defeat the whole purpose leh. wan go back, go back tgt mahs. but i also dunno how. its like nov go back already quite late le. dec go back. think bye bye liao LOL.

oh yea. i finally finished watching F2F, after struggling for like more than a month, becos i have to face problems like - promos,attachment, Poverty, no burner! So sad la. and till now- STILL NO BURNER!! arghs.. i have yet to rent and watch my dear idol next show - L.o.w. and yet another popping up soon liao.

and den nowadays my ch55 can just throw awae. i am like rewatching old dramas like SOY and it is only needed on weekends to watch my new korean show craze - Love story in harvard. (i'm watching for the sake of Kim tae hee!) damn sweet u see. haha like this kind of romantic dramas. bud this drama is crazy 1. even the characters also sot sot 1. It is also this show that i first time see sweet kisses. Korean drama kiss very nt interesting 1 leh. they can just touch each other lips and stay in tt position for like 5-10mins (hahaha dumb).this show was exception. and hor kim rae won and the other guys English is damn horrible. can't survive with the subtitle. LOL. KTH still not bad.

i'm like so proud to declare that i lost my beloved w810i ear piece! oh my- heaven! why do this to me? i'm like so sad lah. okay tell u, never lose or scratch ur sony ericsson hp or accessories cos it always cost a bomb to buy another 1 back. Especially when u are so broke. So i have to hang out at library without any music. now i dunno what to do lah. tell my parents they sure ans : "Really? u see lah!! i sure noe sooner or later u will lose it de!" Basically true lah, things in my hands(my bro's too) won't have a gd ending. The sofa and refrigerator is gonna die soon. Basically the Sofa just broke le la. dun dare invite ppl come my house cos they no chair to sit hahaha.

was checking my hp pics to see if there's any photos to be put on my blog cos it looks plain boring. den i realised- out of 280++ photos, only 13 photos with me(myself, yes me) inside only. How pathetic can it be! wonder is this my hp not cos some ppl like bel bel's alone pic also more than me!.

many things happened recently. and somehow i really think its so hard to be a human.

it's either u stand up for what is right, or get hated by someone. i was asked to go and meet the principal again at 3pm. and the complain made my a girl make things even worse, making the batch of girls who were late yesterdae being held up longer. Somehow after all this things, i am no longer angry abt it, cos it was really my mistake for being late. however there are still somethings that i'm unhappy abt..

today, the class get to noe who will be retained, and who to be promoted. only 1 of my classmate was retained. i noe he feel sad inside but he just din show. Somehow.. i realli think he deserved to be promoted more than many of the guys in my class(who only have dota in their heart during the period b4 promos). He is hardworking. but life is just so unfair. yes unfair.

I dun feel really right just now after the exco meeting. even though we have fun eating going-to-expire tibits and i have one whole box of ice-jelly to eat. the opening of the noodle house gibs me a feeling that they are going to sack the auntie(who is sick) at T-break. Just feel that if they really does, this world is so damn cruel. Though i admit the fact that she have difficulty walking that's why she's slow, her dessert making skill is still damn gd. The Mango-milk-ice she made for me today was so damn nice la. and after interacting with both her and short-hair auntie, i think she need this job more than anyone else. Is it actually right for me to be that soft-hearted? it's not like i think short-auntie should be sack. I think both should stay. They are really very nice ppl. i can't bear to see both of them leave too.

Sometimes i really think that i am one who is really damn gan qing yong shi. That's why i dun think i can be a leader in future. but wad can i do? just be cold to everyone meh?- so i won't be emotionally attached(not sure is it the right word to use) to them or wad.. so when i really become boss 1 day and i can just happily sack them? hias.

i was late at the wrong time today. many things to do b4 assembly and i reached after assembly. I'm so freaking pissed off this afternoon. left the school in a rage and i remained uber black face for 1whole hour. came back to sch feeling quite happy (after i calmed down), then when i hear what the principal said, i felt so damn ridiculous.

i admit its my fault for being late (FOR 5 MINS ONLY). and does it have to go to the extend of kicking us out of the sch? ok when i heard what he said, i was like still able to smile u see. I think this is way too ridiculous, but somehow i am likee so confident he won't kick me out of sch u see. we ended up picking 20 rubbish each and that's all.

i really hope he punish ppl who really deserve it. Seriously speaking, i really feel that its unfair cos i know his main aim is to punish those who always came like at 9am or 10am and those who realli dun1 and deliberately miss out on the morning assembly. But at the mean time he actually punished those who are not liddat. If i am one such person, would i still come today, knowing that i'll definitely be late for sch!? arghhs. just shit. my bad luck! I think he is a gd principal. that's why irresponsible ppl who always ponned sch, gib stupid excuses, come late take advantages of it.

Really thanx man. if hasn't been all this ppl's act, he wouldn't resort to this and some of us wouldn't have to wait for 4hour just to get our ezlink card back, got threatened to be kick out of sch and den asked to pick 20 rubbish each.

watched rob-b-hood today at lot1. it was a nice and touching show. basically, i like action pact movies. hah. and i caught sight of this nurse who is one of the main char. from head to toe i was thinking if i did guess correctly she was gao yuan yuan cos sometimes she look like, sometimes she dun. haha.. Kenix have great taste eh. gao00 look pretty :)

talking abt movies, i have been watching movies and series every now and then. Matrix revolution was amazingly nice last night. tot it sux and exaggerating in the first place. maybe i should pursuade idiot to rent it someday so tat we can watch tgt again the next time. Thinking back, i rmbed my first movie i watch in the cinema was Jurassic Park. haha and den the 2nd 1 was my all time fav Dante's Peak. gosh didn't noe Dante's Peak was like a 1997 production. like so long le.

i skipped GP lesson this afternoon and was feeling rather guilty when i went out to eat this afternoon. But seriously, mr chng gave us permission to do so!. Lol so i din realli skip rite? Blahs at first i tot mr chng is showing the guys anime to watch so i din go. If i noe he let us watch Constantine i will definitely go 1. hahaha.. And we broke record today. only 9 Ppl attended Mrs Ong's lesson. at first we tot only 6 girls, lucky 3 guys came along. dat was like so sad. and mrs ong commented "Wow.. this is like the best class.. it is like first time the class is so peaceful!" Well, well i realli do agree with her comment!

forgotten that today is actually a public holiday bud dunno why my father still have to work ar. Library close, school close.. met up with FES attachment mates to do that stupid grp report. had a hard time coming up with the date to meet up and my stupid handphone sms is gonna burst. hah. Quite amazing that we guys can joke ard with each other even though actually we only get to know each other for only a few weeks and only spoke a little to each other during the attachment. Haha. And den i realised that everybody were pissed that Mr Ng keep telling the ppl we were bookworms. Ok we ARE not! Done with the discussion quite fast and can go home le.

was suppose to have a afternoon nap de. den in the end i got addicted to watching Qian nu you hun 3. It's a very old show i know, but it was realli nice. Really tend to prefer old series.

a year have passed and a week more, it would be the end of my first year in JJ. somehow time passes real quickly that i couldn't breathe. and its have been like 2 weeks after my MCS attachment. i thought sch won't be that happening anymore. and seriously ever since last wed till today, i have been back late. Dun think i ever come back at a time where the sky is damn bright (i think its only on this tues). Seriously, after a few months of lazing around since i didn't take promos, i realise i lost all motivation to study. a very sad case. Maybe i should find mrs lim to chat somedays during the holidays or maybe next week so that she can motivate me to study again. Moreover i think she tot i flew over to Korea.. haha so i was suppose to share my experience there with her. Maybe i can tell her how happy i was in MCS.

actually somehow.. i think a little of my motivation have actually come back after i saw results of our J1 physics last week and i tot that i am realli lousy in physics. From A to D(for common test). But overall i got a B(Lol) bad rite? great then.. i'm getting much motivation from competitors. :D

was watching news this afternoon.. and realli after my trip to MCS.. i grew fonder of watching news and i do agree with what Lay Hoon said, if i dun read newspaper, at least i have to watch the news. So for now, no matter how or what i will still watch the news. and its like ever since the last day i left that area, i haven seen Lynne reporting already. She went for holiday and she finally came back to report the news today. No wonder i find the voice narrating in trailers so familiar. anyway i realli enjoyed reading her blog cos i tot the information(from books and mag she reads) that she shared with us are rather interesting. hope she post more of such stuffs next time round. Though she actually mentioned "keep in touch", i know it is nv easy to achieve this. *Sigh.

oh yea. got selected as the leader of Team E for the Xi`an trip. haha tot i hear wrongly when mr hoho told me thru the phone and knowing i will nv say No to request unless it is super unreasonable and i super buai song u(but in this case no lah!! teacher leh! how to reject him?), he actually ask me if he can place me in the Technology 1. Wah piang. that is like we were praying we wouldn't be in it. arghs

Last week, JJ105 were busy with scripting, tough work to do. and i can declare the fact that i realli realli HATE OP!. Firstly, i never like public speaking. 2ndly, what did i get from the audience with my trembling voice? Laughters! Evil audience.

Thursday evening was spent at marriot hotel. So i can actually sacrifice my sleep time just to catch a view of my 3rd idol - Kawing (Kevin). In fact, actually i was planning not to go since i was tired that day. But.. i still went ahead. Lucky the meeting didn't disappoint me. He came down at 7.30(as promised) in a suit, so damn dashing though with that dumb plaster on his head. And we went up to the 2nd floor for a chat with him. while going up the escalator, i was walking ahead of him, he actually rmbs me. He called out to me and say "hello" first. so i actually mumbered "Hello.. it's been a long time since we last saw each other.." and he replied the same thing. Basically they started giving him big stacks of stuff to sign. i just sat right opposite of him taking photos using Jessica cam. I did not bring anything for him to sign, neither do i think is necessary. I think looking at him is enough and when he look up and smile at me. I tot his smile is priceless. Hardly spoke to him, cos i realised i do not have anything to say to him and me appearing at this meeting has already shown my support hor him.

Took photos with him and for once, when i approch him, b4 jessica actually snap that photo, he stopped, turn over and ask me "I'm sorry that i forgotten your name(the last time i told him my name was at airport in March).. can u tell me what's your name again?". Was somehow taken aback by his question. He is the first idol of mine who actually ask me for my name when he is not signing my stuff. hehe. Asked him to take a zi pai photo with me with my crappy chinese language "Can u help me take photo...(while i handed him my hp)" and before i actually finish my sentence he took my hp with the cam part facing me "Ok.. u wan me to take ur photo ar?" Anyway that photo turn up nice minusing my hair which is rather messing. that's the consequences of not using clips but i really hate them. Afterwards when i spoke to him. he actually rmbed my name and said " Dim ar? grace(asking me what i wan to ask him hah)" SK2, Jessica and me took another funny photo with him. and he was like so damn cute and he kept reminding us "realli must act fierce hor! cannot smile hor!" heh. The meeting end ard 8.45? and we were happy.

Friday was open house and i am like so damn thirsty after the whole events. Didn't noe i can be hyper and keep jio-ing ppl to play my stupid lame game. and to be truthful i realli think JJ is not as happening as other JCs.

Monday to wed - nothing significant happened, even if something did. nothing to elaborate on. Another days whereby i read home at near 7pm or even later.

Thursday(today) missed lesson and brought a group of JPS students around Hong Kah Point to explain to them some entrepreneurial stuff. Though much time is wasted and though Mr patrick goh is rather lo-so, i feel that somehow i have gain much from this experience and learn more abt entrepreneurialship. realli have a fun day today as well as the freebies we have gotten for volunteering our job.
"Good presentation" this comment from Mr Chng actually make me feel more secure as in knowing that i did explain my slides clearly and i am actually quite happy about it. Too bad i failed in the question and answer part and there are flaws to my slides. Hopefully i can pass through this horrible OP. basically as usual, my legs trembled and the public speaking lesson i have gotten did help a little. and do i realli look tense? haha.

Suddenly feel quite sad for 06S14. i wonder what actually happen. we dun seems united as we were. we have internal conflicts and stuff. somehow i actually do agree with what someone have mentioned "i realli think our class is the worse class cos ppl in our class attitude are horrible and if i were to promote and stay in this class, i rather i didn't get promoted.."

Mediacorp Day 4 (Continued..)

reach the office, and as usual me and lay hoon sat down at the table. saw Yun Ling doing something so was thinking if i should actually approach her.. But feeling paiseh again i just sit there and slack. Hahahaha. After a while, she turned over and asked "Who is following me today ar?". Den so kinda raised my hand and she asked me to use the computer at the extreme end for a while. Lay Hoon came to join me in using the com. I was thinking what can i do using the com u see, though i can realli spend like more than 5 hours of my time at home surfing the net!. But then i find it rather inappropraite to surf my idol's web there, so i happily went to my hotmail to clear my emails slowly (there are 200++ unread emails). better clear them b4 more stack up.

on my msn and was frantically looking for ppl to chat with me. finally found mathangi to chat with me wahaha!. After a short while, suddenly yunling came over and ask me what's my name and then followed on she say "Grace, wo men zou le.." wah so fast lah. den i faster anyhow log out of my msn and email. And i feel kinda embarrassed to make her wait for me. But while waiting, she was talking to Shi Ling. the conversation goes something like this.


ShiLing: "你帶她下去make up room看你化妝啊?

Yun Ling: "對lor.. 很悶的.."

ShiLing: (turned and look at me)"那你就要帶一本雜誌下去看了..因為真的很悶的.."

Yun Ling:"可是可以看明星wor.. 但是昨天沒有明星."

ShiLing: "對lor,對lor.."

Yun Ling: "你要不要拿相機下去,或者一本autograph book 下去跟他們拿簽名?"

Hearing that, i feel like fainting and as usual i got embarrassed again and den i say "Huh!? 不用了,不用了!" waving my stupid hand frantically, den before running after yunling.


Den basically she did all the talkings and in fact actually i realli wanted to ask her a lot of things, but too paiseh to do so. Den thinking back, i realli think she spoke a lot of things regarding what she did everyday for her job, just that she spoke too fast, and my brain took quite a long time to digest what she say, so i couldn't catch much of what she said and den i dunno de i also reply "orh.. ah.." HAHas.

She brought me to the wadrobe room where she picks her clothes to wear and stuff for the 6.30pm news that day itself.. and she asked me to sit outside to wait for her. Was as usual stoning.. looking around at ppl and the environment there... Then 2 person came in (i think they came from the camera unit there where the buses are located at).. and they turns out to be Superhost Wu Luo Yi and Li Teng(dun see i everytime talk abt hongkong stuff, i know much of Singapore actor de hor!). Previously, a few days back i saw Wu Luo Yi buying food at the canteen and kinda passed by him. He looks quite like rain wor!. Anyway i just smiled at them, and they smiled back before going into the wardrobe room.

Then after quite a long while, Yun Ling came out with her top all green, even the necklace is green too? and i think (if rmb correctly), we went straight to the makeup room and she intro me the camera unit(though i did went there b4, i didn't thats the camera unit, okay that's dumb) asking if i did went there b4. I think i went there for 2 days. And then we just went straight to the make up room which is located in some short building. I was trying to catch up with her cos i think she walk to fast or maybe i am walking too slow. Haha i realli think that my speed of walking have been always among the quite fast speed.. Until the day i come to newsroom, i think i walk very slow =.=.. Once i step into the newsroom, i got a shock. Right infront of me so many MCS actors and actresses [Huang Ding rong, Lin Cui Fang(saw so many superhost sia), hong ai ling, and another actress with surname Guo.. and i think i saw jessica liu... ] sitting on the sofa right in front of me. and Once i enter, they all turn and look at me at the same time lah. Den i was rather paiseh.. it's not like my legs will go wobby when i see stars, just that suddenly so many actors appear in front of me, i also will scare 1 mah. So as usual i smile smile.. den before running for Yun Ling (cos she's like so far ahead of me le) .

Den i heard this do make up de auntie saying "Wah, 你每天帶不同的小妹妹來啊?".. den followed on the auntie came and ask "你要看電視嗎? 如果看電視就坐這裡.. 等她洗臉出來你才坐過來看她化妝.. 不然你就去sofa那裡坐" After hearing this the first thing came into my mind is "Huh?! siao ah. the sofa so many stars, i where got the cheek to go and sit there" haha. So i kept saying no need le. so i just sit there and look at them help yun ling makeup and do the hair. actually in fact quite interesting, not as boring as i thought to be, cos basically i was busy scanning the room seeing which stars came in and out and at the same time, i think seeing broadcaster doing makeup quite interesting leh. After a while got a guy came and ask me to excuse haha cos i blocking the cardboard he wanted to get the things from so i kept saying Sorry sorry.. den YunLing saw already and said "Wah..你做什麼?欺負小妹妹啊?" the guy reply saying he didn't and ask why she is so concern, i am her sister meh?.. den the conversation goes on and i dun realli catch what they talking and it ends of with the guy saying "如果她(me)真的是你的妹妹,我才沒有這麼禮貌,喊她[走開啦!]" haha find their conversation rather funny.

After that i went back to newsroom to use the com again, yunling tell me the rough procedure she have to do after she makeup. Basically they have to come out with a sentence to highlight the news for today follow on, they have to let Miss boss to have a look at the "script" before making trailer out from it. Then she say i would be able to relax for quite a long while till 4plus. That period of time while she was busy, i am feeling the most bored of all de.. i keep looking around in the newsroom, hearing the people there gossiping and then at times scanning thru my email deleting all the rubbish. read some stupid jokes and i am constantly smiling and laughing to my ownself. While playing, i actually saw li ping, the one whom i compete with for champion for that balloon thing. she was surprise that i am actually attach to the news team which is where she is working at haha.

Then after quite a long time, until abt 4.30, we went to editing room! :D yay. and yunling beginning explaining the stuff that she need to do and telling me that 4.30 is the best time to go to the editing room to find ppl edit videos cos the editors just came to work and nobody will fight with her over the editor. haha. So basically she say she have an important job for me to do while she went to VO room to record(as usual, ahah i think VO room is realli out of bounce for us?) her own voice for the trailer. then she brought me to one of the room, showed me regarding a news interviewed by shuangxi on the mooncake bigger than the face. she showed me the scenes she wan and tell me to tell the editor which scenes and stuff she wans cos it seems like the editor is a an indian so he dun understands chinese. So she brought me to another room and she introduce me to mr editor, before going to VO room and while editing they ask me which school i am from and i told them JJC. another indian guy came and ask me if i know his friend by the name of Blah blah working as a teacher in my sch. Basically i have hearing prob so i dunno who he is talking abt, so i say i nv hear of this teacher name b4. den he went on "He's a part time teacher, doing yoga.." den i was like "Huh? U mean Mr Jega? he's famous for yoga!" Then that guy went on "Ya. he's working part time in mediacorp doing translation or news reporting or smth" Den i was like Huh? haha mr jega work in mCs too?

Yunling came back with a tape and ask me to assist the editor while she go back to the newsroom to do smth. den b4 going off she asked me "after u use finish the tape u pass this to Siu Ling.." Seeing my blur look, she added "U know who is siu ling not?" hahaha. Den i replied "Er.. dunno.." hahahaha. i think its funny lah. working in the newsroom yet i noe nothing of the ppl there. Hear their name b4, see their look b4. but couldn't put their names and match it with their face u see. den yun ling was like alamak how come i dunno liddat Lols. den she say "the one sitting right opposite u 1 lor..".. Den i anyhow reply Orh. in actually fact i still dunno is who lah LOL. cos i was busy thinking the guy sitting opposite of me when i using the com this afternoon not Qi Yuan meh?. Then after doing the video, i went back to the newsroom to let the boss have a look at the video. den after that i slacked again at the table where they put a lot of food on. I tink they have mooncake or bee hoon that day. Its realli tempting sitting on the table and everyone seems to be asking me to eat if i wan to. But still i am too paiseh to eat.

Then after that its time for some broadcasting and stuff.. yunling brought me down to studio3 where i get to see how she do the news reporting for TVmobile. i sat somewhere near the table and there is this green board thing. very interesting bud too lazy to elaborate. So while waiting for the thing to start or smth she told me what are the things here and there for. and den i take the chance to clear my doubts. and it happens that her top are all green, so her body appear invisible on tv LOL. i mean as in all her clothings turn red. And then also need to off my hp. followed on yunling find that her jacket look very ugly on tv. so she was thinking of going to wadrobe to change bud not sure if she have the time. So she asked me to go back to the newsroom and tell me exactly where this brown jacket is. Den she added "有小妹妹真好!" so i ran up to the control room. when i was there haha i saw and hear the tv there yun ling was telling the ppl in the ctrl room "Xiao mei mei should know where is it rite?" Den the crew turn and look at me den i smile smile den faster run up to newsroom to get the jacket. fell down at the stair case =X whahahaha. and den i followed her instructions and realli hor the jacket is inside the center cardboard right at the extreme left. Wah realli damn gd memory leh she.

So i ran back and when i step into the studio, one crew was telling me "wow. that's fast!" den i went down to pass it to yun ling and she said "小妹妹有跑對嗎?" meaning i came back at a fast rate. den catching my breath i say yups haha. and the news start le!. Oh yah b4 that yun ling was saying yesterdae lay hoon was following her around mah. den she nv get to wear the ear piece haha and in the end yun ling macham talk to the ppl in control room macham like talking to her ownself liddat haha. So she gave 1 ear piece to me today. and the recording for tvmobile news starts. NG quite a lot of times. and after that, we went back to newsroom where i slack again. after quite a long while, after seeing i have nothing to do, the boss assigned me to do typing of script into the news production system in the com. where i have to convert those fan ti chinese words to jian ti. Surprisingly i all know leh! haha i know how to read fan ti must thanx to reading Hk news everyday u see. haha. But i missed the chance to go down with Yun Ling to see her reporting the 6.30 news becos of that stupid Ah Bian's news lah! bud i told her after i finish my work i will go down to studio 3 to see.

After the 6.30 news end, i was thinking if i should leave wor. the dao bo was asking if i was waiting for lynne. den i nodded my head thinking that i leave liddat quite inappropraite. wait for her better. But i get to see other stuffs lah like what other crews do after the news report finish. Den after a while yun ling came up and den when she saw me her first sentence was "你等我啊?". The way she asked me this quest was rather cute and funny. I nodded by head. and den i follow her back. She added "Aiyah.. 不用等我的.. 你可以回家了". Den she asked me if boss have assign me job for the next day den i say haven and so i have to go back to newsroom. Sat there while waiting for lay hoon and the other 2 guys. and actually i am waiting for boss to assign me jobs. Hahaha i refused to approach the boss lah cos she's busy with her work with other ppl. Den suddenly yun ling came over and ask me to follow her. Den she sat down at the chair in front of the boss and den she continued "來! 我幫你排隊,問老闆你明天要做什麼工作! 你看那些大人.. 這樣排隊找老闆.. 我看等一下你排隊問老闆東西會排到天亮 yea!"

That is like haha funny lah LOL. bud i thank her for helping me. and actually we realli wait quite long. she ask me to sit down. bud i refuse to lah dunno wassup with me also. den after that finally my turn, den i began signaling the other 3 to come and ask for their job too. den seeing how reluctant i was to open my mouth to speak to boss, yunling help me ask liao. Hahah. And then the boss joked that tmr we last day so we help them to keep the newsroom tidy. and actually the boss wanted to ask me to accompany someone to Chinatown buy mooncake 1 leh! aiyo bud yunling was telling her that it was better to ask a guy to go cos can help carry. So yi teng got my job! Den i was like alamaks~ haha. and i got a night time job to esplanade to film ppl playing with laterns tgt with Song Jing. Arghs feel a little bored lah cos i followed song jing again. Den we were discussing hor last day le we should take a grp photo tgt. den the boss overhear and mentioned "如果如你們想拍照就找那些人- 臉塗得花花綠綠的(pointing at yunling)". Den we kinda laughed. And yun ling asked her stuff finish den i think she going home early.

Then since both me and lay hoon followed her b4. we were thinking of taking a pic with her :)) haha cos both of us think she pretty mah hehe.. bud both of us like so shy to ask to take pic with her. In the end i finally dare to approach her heh. at first she kinda reject us saying her eyes/nose red red de and ask her to find her tmr. But thinking that she's down with a flu and may not be coming tmr, i say "later u tmr nv come then how?" den she say "No lah, i die die also must report to work de.. i won't take leave de..." After hearing that i feel a little sad, cos i think its like u are sick and yet u have to turn up for work. *Sigh its realli tough for her. Then take finish photo we bid them farewell and went home!

That day was realli a happy day and fun day for me!! hehe. :D But something i must mention, after constantly many ppl asked me my name, but they nv rmbed. even though its quite a simple name. But yun ling was exceptional, think she got good memory and den constantly calling me by my name is so much better than Xiao mei mei and got qing qie gan also mah. somehow, at times i realli dislike the word xiao mei mei though it make me feel young at heart lol but still! arghs gib me the feeling that i'm a small kid haha.

Mediacorp Day 4

It's the most happening and fun day i ever had in my 5 day attachment. Previous night, on my way home with layhoon we were busy discussing whether we should go for the moon cake festival celebration at 12pm. was a little bit too early for me cos i only need to go up to the newsroom at 2pm. But still, thinking that the days we spend in MCS is coming to an end. We decided we just go ahead with it and maybe just slack there.

When we reached there, the canteen was as usual - Super noisy. Saw ppl in a room (sort of a function room), preparing and hanging up laterns. feeling rather embarrassed to go in and thinking that no food are provided, we decided to have our lunch first. Den more and more ppl went in and den.. we feel so scare to go in just liddat.. Until we saw another 2 of our frens from JJ who are attached to 特寫 coming out from that room. They came over and tell us the guy who is in charge of the newsroom invited us to go in! :D

So After our lunch we went in and buffet is provided! Arghs din eat since i was pretty much so damn Full. so went to drink some water and when we enter that place, we actually have to write our name down and we each got a lucky draw number. I was thinking "wow. got food and lucky draw! haha so cool".. den the next moment i regretted coming in, it seems like i have enter a pirate ship. Everybody whose no. got drawn, have to perform some stuffs b4 they are able to get their prize. Was like so dumbfounded when this crew can actually perform a dance (following the bg music)right in front of everyone. Den next was some 高層(head of smth) and she read such a chim poem can. LOL. the 5 of us was like "omg.. that was too chim to understand". was praying hard that it wasn't me. Den.. the next no. was 21!!. and it happen to be one of us (Zi xin). Lols. that was like so damn suay. Zi Xin refuse to go up at first den in the end she is forced to. and Den i dunno why the whole crew there started pursuading us to perform some cheer with her since we are from JJ. Was like arghhs a bit reluctant to go up cos a bit shy mah, bud also wish to have some fun. In the end we all went up and its like so darn funny.

Surprisingly, Yi teng was super hyper. not to mention the ppl who are in the function room as well. they were as high as us cos they scream with us can Lols. and we went :

(This last sentence was super funny cos we dunno how to end it) I was seriously laughing from head to toe lah, cos its seriously damn hillarious LOL. ok i noe it sounds dumb. and i was realli embarrassed, lucky yi teng cover up my voice. We each got a prize and we quickly ran to the back.

And next up was some games that require 15 ppl. and its like the MC(who realli have a very familiar face) was inviting us up to play the game again. Feeling rather excited (lols cos i wan hab fun mah), i was like pursuading the others "Eh go leh~~ go bah have fun :)" and we went up to play. We eached gotten ourselves a balloon and we have to see who blow the fastest and the biggest. Wah diao = I last man (hahaha cos i dunno how to tie the balloon) Malu hor. Den follow on we proceed to Round 2 where we have to tie the balloon to our legs and burst each others' balloon. when they start the whole game, the crews are like killing theirselves while the 5 of us just run to one side and sit there doing nothing. den the mc say "wah.. you all dun kill ur ownselves leh, u forget there is still some kids sitting there looking at u" Hahaha and dey all came and attempted to burst our balloons. by balloon flew out and i quickly run after it like i'm playing soccer haha den i heard the mc saying "wah..玩到很像在踢足球" =X

Den soon its left with me competing with another 2 auntie and seriously i have not burst any balloon haha. Den my balloon flew out again and i was like "Eh i give up!" haha den this auntie came over and say "哪裡可以放棄,沒有放棄的..I help u tie the balloon" so i must show my determination and 為 JJ 增光!! Hahahah. So i burst one of the person's balloon and den the MC came "小妹妹..你知不知道你剛剛踩破誰的氣球?" I shake my head.. "她是.. Head of dunno blah blah blah.. So Ur life for the following day would be worse..." And everybody was like laughing.. Actually i feel like answering "I'm leaving tmr le.. haha dun think i need to see any ppl's black face" And so i was left to compete for the champion. Wah i think it lasted for 30mins or so, and i was like so out of breath and nearly fainted becos i kept turning round and round. In the end i won. They asked me to speak abt how i feel when i got the champion (which was rather funny).. Den i answered "Er..我太累了(too tired).. Dun have any strength to say anything.. and i realli dunno wad to say".. den the MC as usual up to funny stuff lah ask me "你剛剛踩破我們的高層的氣球,你有什麼安慰的話要告訴她?".. I was like "Huh? 我不會安慰人leh..".. den the MC just urge me to say smth so i said "Sorry.." and everybody burst up luffing. and the auntie, liping who won 2nd was asked to say a few words as well den she say "這證明了..年齡的確有關係的!!" haha.

After everything, i just sat down and rest for a while and i am still sweating like i have just gotten a bath. realise that lay hoon and yi teng went off le, i run after them can?! Cos i dun1 to mafan Yun Ling cos must call her again. den i will feel rather paisae to talk to ppl on the phone de. and plus when i change my visitor pass at the reception counter.. i forget to say Tvbuilding storey 3. So i just follow them up, and i still haven remove that stupid ball ball on my legs lah. lol. Cai Bing was like saying "Li hai ah!".. den i was thinking, think got luck only, moreover i only burst 2 balls.

What a miracle, i scored 112/160. i thought my chinese was a gone case initially.. and was rather depressed after that stupid paper(since i have no confidence after checking my ans with ppl) .. U see ah, that's the only language that i am good at!! so sad that i deteriorated to such an extent. I used to be very good in writing compo in my secondary school, and now i am like .. *Wahahaha. I think i just sucks in writing stories, like to do argumentative questions, so sometimes English compo is to my benefit.

So tired this afternoon dat i kinda fall asleep during mr chng's lesson. not realli lah. bud i just shut my eyes while listening to him talking. And for each and every lesson, we are like getting back test papers.. Chi, Econs, Phy, Chem, Maths.. almost all the papers are back. bud its like non of my business, except chi and gp. Came back and fell asleep. Den wake up got steamboat to eat man. Dunno wassup with them, suddenly eat steamboat. it's not like its any big day anywae.

今天又是家庭日! 超級愛家庭日的早上.. 哈哈哈因為爸爸會開車載我去吃好好吃的東西,我也不用因為食物的價錢而煩惱(bleahs).所以我也成為了美食家!! 特別愛看關於美食的節目-"全能美食秀"! 我們到了紅星酒樓吃點心! 吃到肚子好漲啊! 過後,象平時一樣..我們就會打賭 100塊,有沒有剩.

Wah!!我們竟然花了$99.40 吃早餐.還剩六毛錢. haha 花了這麼多錢吃早餐.. 難怪下午時要淪落到Hawker Center 去吃午餐了.提到Hawker Center就生氣..我花了8塊錢吃一碗田雞粥,感覺上好像在吃田雞骨似的..浪費我的錢!!

去了新開張的的 Vivo City,沒什麼好看得啦..(可是那裡的風景的確很美!) 可能自己不是很愛Shopping,除了有必要的話才去Shop.我最最討厭和人家去Shopping liao.因為大家喜歡的東西都不同..走路的pace也不同..到頭來,一定是我等人的!

突然想起我還沒有做Report leh.. 完蛋了..
況且..最後兩天所發生的事情也還沒Blog完..有點懶惰..
可是這5天的Attachment的的確確讓我 打開眼見! 體驗到做記者的滋味(其實也沒有什麼體驗到什麼.. 哈哈因為從頭到尾,我很像只是在跟着人家,看人家做訪問)而且還了解到做記者,主播的苦處.. 哈哈..好想告訴許校長:"你成功的讓我喜歡上看新聞!" hahahha..

Plus plus, i realli appreciate the ppl in the newsroom for the effort they have put in to give us the most updated news.. cos their job is realli tough.

今天.. 煩啊..
Last night i slept at 3am and have to wake up as early as 7am. worse come to worse i haven prepare stuff for stock checking at Affinity. U see.. 有假期,好像沒有這樣..可憐的我.. After working/on attachment for 5 days,多多少少also tired 1 lor..

最殘的是..

The Haze is so irritating!! Wake up and everything in my vision is blur blur de. Mrt blur, house blur blur, BPPlaza blur blur.. My sore throat also getting quite terrible already.. den some thoughts come to my mind: 如果有上班就好了!! Imagine sitting in the office relaxing.. i dun care if i have work to do or not lah. Hias infact, i feel rather sad on my way home from xiaoguilin after the small moon cake celebration there. Anywae i thought that the haze now is worse off than that in 1997 wor.. now highest PSI: 150.. and yet i couldn't stand it le. Den last time in 1997, the PSI is as high as like 200 plus. Horrible.

Den this morning.. only 4 ppl turned up for stock checking only. *Sigh it had always been like this.. who ask our business unit only have around 6 ppl. So sad rite. was suppose to settle some eclub stuff when i'm online. bud.. wadever lah. just tired.

Then last night, i was chatting with Jessica and jessica was telling me to msg Yun Ling to thank her and stuff. This morning, i was still thinking whether i should msg her or not... But i msged Mr Ng first asking if we were have the chance to go back to MCS to thank them not and he said that he can help arrange it! :D Then Followed on i msged Lay Hoon the gd news and she told me that she smsed Yun Ling and Yun Ling gave her, her email and blog addy and ask lay hoon to share it with me hoho. so nice rite? haha..

so.. i smsed Yun Ling thanking her and asking her to take care of her health. Den kinda apologised for giving them trouble(i seriously think we did) And den she replied me:

"No prob. It was fun having you all around. Breaks the monotony of work.. Keep In touch.. No La u dash up from studio floor to get me my jacket in a jiffy remember? You were a great help!"

Talking abt that.. well it pays to be kind haha. thinking that the filming for tvmobile gonna start soon, i run so fast up the stairs back to the newsroom to get her the jacket and i fell down at the staircase. =.= Heng ah. no one there. if not realli Kuku Malu. But at least i am happy that ppl appreciate my help. =)

Mediacorp Day 3

Practically for me, it was slacking day. cos i only have to report at 3pm compared to the 11am and 9am the 2 previous day. Followed on, still can go see Sun Yan Zi, not bad hor. So i reached there at 3 plus and i was sweating like dunno wad cos i'm wearing 2 long sleeves. Shuxian told me to try not to wear tee shirt.. ZZZZ. so i have to borrowed from Shumin lor. Sianx

Reached there, read a bit of 8 days in the office (as usual lah). Then the office was exceptionally noisy that day, Shuang xi saw me stoning there and den she was telling me that the office is exceptionally noisy which is suppose to be not the case. haha kinda joking ard with me. set off to our destination at 3.30pm. Went to the camera unit where the mediacorp buses are parked at and off we go. The Yes 933 Press Conference is located at some ulu area called St James PowerStation near Harbour Front Shopping Center. As usual, i tot i was suppose to go to some serious function cos it involves the announcement of who is actually coming to SG for the Yes 933 award ceremony and the reveal of the Medal. When i step in.. i was like "Wah.. how come all i go de press conference all is macham disco 1 leh.." Den i didn't noe i have entered a Pub until the MC, Ding Zhi Yong said so.

Saw the medal and damn chio sia and of cos i saw sun yan zi lah. Quite close up cos i'm standing infront. Den the Ding Zhi Yong was joking abt last time they reveal that 2 ppl had comfirm that they will go to the award ceremony, that is Him and Wu Xu Ma Li, den the next day already more than 100 tickets sold LOL. den he look to my area and say "Thanx to Wu Xu Ma Li.." Den i was thinking "Wu xu ma li here meh?", so i turn to my right and she's just beside me standing quite close. =.=..

Basically all the crappy talkings though at times quite entertaining. after everything, we went upstairs for a 1-1 interview with Sun Yan Zi. First one with other press den followed by ch8 alone. i didn't go in, i just stood there like a stoner and look at the camera man set up the cameras and stuff. They ask me to sit at yan zi chair so that they can adjust the camera, since my height agar the same(realli meh, i think i shortie man). Den after a while Shu Xian came back and then interview yan zi lor. they took so long to put the mic on for yan zi. But whatever, i just stood there and see, see until very tired and my back is aching lah.. So sianx till i dun even feel like seeing le. Hahaha.. Den also dun realli like her.

I realise something... I always thought that reporters job are damn cool as they get to see stars and they get to interview them. Bud sometimes when u came to see a star with the Label "I am here to work." It is seriously not fun at all but boring. Sometimes reporters still have to tahan some Big shots black face and the questions they prepared might kinda offend them.

I did not take any pictures at all nor i dare to request to take pic with sun yan zi. It's like i'm not keen at all anywae since she's not my idol and at the same time, i dun think its realli that appropriate to take photos of her Secretly(cos i dunno can or not lah) since i'm carrying the name "reporter", like make till ppl thing how come MCS Reporter so not professional de. But i did take photos of camera man at work and i secretly took 1 photo of Shu Xian interviewing Yan zi. LOL bud shuxian block yan zi =.=. Okay wadever. just for show nia. LOL

After everything we went down to have our food and drinks. the pub is quite nice in fact. Met another person who is attached to MCS radio station :D haha happen to be my senior or smth. i was in AJ for first 3 months and den switch to JJ. she was in JJ for first 3 months bud switch to AJ haha. Shuxian kept commenting that i am here for holiday sia can get to see Stars. lol Den we went back to MCS in a cab. Actually i can go home str8 from harbour front. Bud i still haven noe my duties next week and my ezlink card is left at the reception counter. =.=.. So i went back and the 6.30pm news gonna finish le. That night, the 6.30pm news got error sia. i think mediacorp's fault for cutting off the news when its still showing. Not even overrun yet lor. too bad i didn't get to see it, bud lay hoon did.

We were assigned our jobs.. and its my turn to follow Lynn Xu Yun Ling(the chiobu broadcaster haha) the following day around to see how her job was like. Feel so scare to approach her can.. cos last friday when i saw her, she look kinda fierce when she's at work lol, especially when she don't smile. But of cos she looks realli pretty and she gib me the impression that she is professional. So i took quite a long time to initiate a talk with her asking her wad time i have to report tmr. She's quite friendly in fact, and ask me to report to the office at 2pm for work and she give me her no. in case i couldn't get into the TV Building(cos the visitor pass seriously sux). Den later she asked me if i wan to come to the Mooncake festival Celebration at the canteen at 12pm, but she may not be going. Diaos. So end of day!! Knock off from work le :D

Opinion: I am starting to feel better and not like everybody is a stranger in that area le. Somehow closer to them cos they are damn friendly. Maybe in Day 1 my impression of that office was rather "Cold".. and now in day 3, i realli feel kinda attached to that place and have plenty of fun there :D. In fact, whether where u go or wad job u take up.. whether the place is fun or not depends solely on u.. depends on how u look at it. If u come to work with a sianx attitude, u will feel that everything in life is boring.(but studying is diff case hor! i am sick of it le hahah) For me, i am feeling rather happy everyday going to work there though after the end of the day i feel so tired. But still i am happy.

Mediacorp Day 1

Monday- i was too tired after 1 whole day of slacking in the office, nearly fall dead when i got home. basically we came prepared. bud the boss did not prepare much work for us. 2 guys were sent to follow one of the reporters out to do some interview or stuffs. Envious of them. While the other 2 girls including me of cos just slack at the office doing nothing. Realli nothing but can see some news broadcaster haha. so bored that i finish reading up the stack of newspaper a kind guy hab lend us to read.

Followed on.. we went to see some morning news with a dao bo(the one who gib instructions for the 630 news) of the day. Had lunch and went back to slack again. Practically doing nothing haha. Den Linda one of the dao bo brought us around and explained every single detail to us wor! haha realli very detailed. almost info overload. But she's super nice hahah. Anyway we went to the Graphics room, Channel 8 Newsroom scene. mingle around with the com haha. The editing room..

The boss saw me sitting at the table like a dummy and was like asking me "Why u sitting alone here? u can just find anyone of them, dun be shy. just stick around with them, die die also stick to them!" =.= hahahaha. den in the end i followed this funny reporter - Tse Siang. Den by the time it was already nearly 6pm. den he still haven cut clips or stuff which is needed in the 630pm news.

He brought me into the VO room (which he is not supposed to i think cos the other 3 did not have the chance to go in lols)and hear him record his voice again and again. I think he is feeling stressed with me standing around looking at him record his voice. Den we went back to the office. used the Library search to find past years videos for local sports. Den we went back to the room where we cut the videos and stuff. and we were like rushing for the 630 news like siao and we began to panic. We couldn't find the tape we wan and stuff. den he gib me some jobs which makes my day quite entertaining like asking me to search for other videos and den bring it to him to edit. and Den we only complete the whole video editing by 6.45pm LOL.

Before he ran off to the studio. I asked him "I follow u and run ah?".. Den he say "U hold this for me.. u no need run.. i run can le.. u walk.." Den off he go. realli macham lightning can. I thought i already walk super fast already. the ppl there hor - their definition of walking fast is macham jogging or running. so i tried my best to follow him leh. follow half way i dunno where he go liao =.= Den i also scare lost my way. so i go office wait for him.

conclusion: the school have succeeded in making me READ and WATCH the news for the past few days.


Mediacorp Day 2

Got to know our job only on the previous day. we were assign to go with this reporter, Song Jing to a press conference at People's Association OBox Studio. When i got in there, the security guard asked for my I/C i was like "Omg!! my ezlink is at the mediacorp reception! and i have no I/C". Started to get a little scare, bud after that there is nothing one lah. Was kinda surprised that the press conference i went wasn't really that serious. The setting look more like i went to a disco.

At first i though this press conference would be rather boring cos its about P65 MPs doing a Hip Hop performance during Chingay 2007 and i thought the atmosphere would be serious too. Surprisingly it was rather relaxing hearing them chat and their hip hop performance was rather hillarious (very cmi)- U will know if u watch the 630 news on Tuesday. When we brought the video back to the office for viewing, many people kept luffing and commenting on it hahahahah. The people there at the press conference are super friendly also. almost Every 5 mins or got ppl ask me wanna eat the buffet thing they prepared. :)) and there are some ppl dressed up in anime costumes bud i have no idea why they are there for.

Get the chance to hold the channel news asia microphone while Song Jing interviewed the MPs. hold until my hand got so numb. There is another dummy the chU n ch8 which is just for show haha. Went back and slack again. get to interact with this nice pretty reporter called shuang xi. very friendly ehs :D den during my free time, just nice shuang xi and zhi hao both need ppl help. den Shuang xi was looking for someone with gd han yu ping ying, while zhi hao is looking for someone who can help him get stuff from reception. Den shuang xi was like asking "Who's han yu pin ying better?" I dunno how to ans, i think i'm alright with it wor. Den we all say "the both of us are good =X" den shuang xi anyhow pick and answered "Ok, i choose u, lol u can run rite, so u help zhi hao collect his stuff" =X. Hahahahah. so basically i go and collect lor, den zhi hao lend me his pass leh! so cool lah haha. if not i cannot enter the stupid News Building. Den i took his pass den can scan here scan there damn fun LOL. even those place that i can't go in using the visitor pass 1 also can go with his pass. Bud his pic in the pass like very long time ago 1. so funny.

Den there's one whole stack of i weekly and 8 days on the table. Everybody keep taking, was kinda paiseh to take. I just took and read liao put back. The boss also came back with one box of Taiwan mooncake. very special eh Hahahah the favour is XO Scallop and Abalone. But heard that it taste quite badly. lol have Muachi Wife's Biscuit to it too. but paiseh to eat lah.

After the usual 6.30pm news. the boss assign us jobs again. Actually she wanted both of us to each follow a Broadcaster around to see their job the next day. Den after a while she came back and ask if we do like Stefanie Sun. den we were like "Er.. okay lah. dun see also can de".. Den she went to ask the guys, the guys also showed no interest in her. So she told us that there were be a Fm 93.3 Press conference regarding the October award thing in SG, and there will be a 1-1 interview with stefanie sun(Wow, Cool man!), den she asked the 2 of us (girls)to decide who to follow Lynne, the broadcaster and who to go and see stefanie sun. settled it with drawing lots with some mac coupons hahah. In the end i went to see stefanie sun! :D bud somehow i still wish to follow the broadcaster too. wad a dilemma.

I'm currently undergoing stupid fes stress. thanx to the FES, it makes me super depressed and upset with myself. Plus is realli tell me the importance of taking exams cos it is the only source of motivation to revise.

realised that i haven been blogging for nearly a week. promos came and end quickly for me. too bad the only 2 paper i took - was a killer paper to me. Chinese sux terribly cos i couldn't understand the passage. EL was as sucky as chinese after i bump into mr chng. He told me that the quest i chosen was one of the worse quest. Blahhhs. well i dun hab much confidence anyway. so damn traumatised and demoralised by it.

Friday, set off to mediacorp with 7 other students. had a tour around that area - the News building. Everything seems to be what i tot to be, just that it was a little more run down that i had tot. Pretty interesting to have the chance to tour around mediacorp. The roads are messy and i can guarantee, i am bound to get lost at that area. Seriously i am still unsure about the job i am suppose to do there, besides following the news reporter out to film some stuffs. Hope i actually get to sit 1182!! lols. Anywae after i visted there, i was telling myself: omg i think i won't wanna spend all my life whole day in that place!. Cos basically everywhere i visit i saw crews using the com typing chinese and searching for news. Arghs dun tell me their job is to search news for hours?! That's a bit boring..

Other than that. i realli think that department is realli complicated, Video editing, tape recording of oversea news, satelites, newsreporting, control station. Arghs its realli damn complicated. i came back with an headache. think info overload? pray hard i won't get to try out video editing cos it will be a terrible experience. bad impression of it le. LOL.

Overall mood: Happy. at least i got the chance to go in mediacorp and see the things there.. haha maybe i can bump into stars at the canteen too. Manage to saw zhang zhen xiang, felicia chin, bryan wong.. and all the news reporter on tv. nearly saw the taiwan artist. Bud wadever the case, i dun think i'm that eager to take photo with them. When i see them, its like i think they are just like us, common ppl. Was at the canteen, when i suddenly wondered.. wonder if Jessica and yummy cast did film series in MCS, and den happen to go to the canteen to eat.. hahah. crazy tots.

Hope my 5 days stay would be enjoyable
Stopped dLoading L.o.w.. uber pissed with that show. i should have known ay's character was insignificant in the first place. Sux. and her screen time was realli so darn little and horrible. Wait till i finish watching FTF and when my stupid burner is alright den i will start renting L.o.w... oh yah ay have gone fatter!! *Craps*

FTF was so darn funny, minusing off the romance part. Find nancy, derek relationship = Ridiculous. mongsik + poyi relationship = progress till so slow wonder how they actually end up tgt sia. Fung and selena = BORING. UBER BORING!

Stupid TVB, i can just gib up on them. Stop giving my idol crap roles when she is capable for better roles. And pls dun lie to us, fans that she hab so much screen time in a particular series by saying that she's a lead inside. Irritated.
